To my fellow PR professionals,
Happy New Year 2016! I am thrilled and honored to serve as your newly elected PRSA Northwest Ohio President. We have one of the hardest-working chapters in our East Central District, and I am so proud of our commitment to serve and educate others in the field of Public Relations.
The 2016 Board of Directors slate is a group of talented individuals who are dedicated to the core values of the Public Relations Society of America, Incorporated. I am anxious to work with this talented group, and under my leadership, it is my desire that our chapter will present a year of intentional programming, useful PR tools, and dedicated outreach to potential members and students (PRSSA).
I can’t thank the Immediate Past President enough – Ms. Kelly Hancock – for her support, friendship and continued guidance.
I hope that you are all able to clear the morning of Friday, Jan. 15 to attend our 8:30 a.m. joint event with the Toledo Press Club on the subject of downtown development. We look forward to hearing from a stellar panel: Keith Burris, Blade Columnist; Brian Trauring, 13ABC News Director; Tedra White, ProMedica Director of Media Relations; and Andi Roman, Communications Director at the Toledo Mud Hens/Toledo Walleye
